Review the Topic Materials and the work completed in NRS-433V to formulate a PICOT statement for your capstone project.
A PICOT starts with a designated patient population in a particular clinical area and identifies clinical problems or issues that arise from clinical care. Organizations, like Center for Disease Control, Healthy People 2020, and American Heart Association, and other authoring agencies/organizations are sites to help us with facts, figures, or provide illustration of details, which may be guiding us, but they are not considered peer-reviewed articles. Please feel free to use these as needed, but do not count them as a peer-reviewed source.
Through this assignment, you really want to focus on the sources of information to develop your clinical problem and solution. This is a crucial first step to the next several weeks of this class and what will result in the completed capstone project. A great deal of emphasis on grading is placed on your peer-reviewed sources. Remember, what you have learned regarding the use of current literature in the program.
