NSG6999 W4 D13 PICOT Assignment

NSG6999 W4 D13 PICOT Assignment : I searched the 5 search engines and was able to access each of them and found articles in each engine. I found if you put in to many words in the search, a lot of the engines could not find articles. There were consistently 130-194 articles found at each site. I added ProQuest database and had similar results from this search engine. The PICOT tool is quite beneficial and easy to utilize. I found the greatest number of articles were in CINHAL, Proquest, and Pubmed. I found that I need to be more proficient in using the search engines. I had not tried the MESH before and did not find it helpful. I appreciated the ability to obtain full text articles. Many sites want money to get a full text.

I did not find it real helpful

It took me a little bit of time to figure out the MESH, but then I got it. Not sure I see the value in using it.  I had to get IT assistance.

I was not able to figure out how to get to this, even after tutorial video.

Retrieved many articles; however, I did not see a way to adjust the time frame to within 5 years, so had so much paper to sift through.  I liked the organization for the literature, an overall count of articles and resources.

I liked the tabs with the number of articles shared.

It was easy to read and clear to determine research, trials, protocols.
